ADJ means any device which have capability of adjusting output voltage, like linear & Buck voltage Regulators which provides regulated adjustable output voltage, some examples of linear regulators are AMS1117-ADJ, LM317T, & Buck examples, LM2596S, XL6009, XL4016, etc
